On May 23, 2024, Empire Teas proudly organized its annual alms giving in celebration of Vesak Poya Day. The event was held at the Sinhalese Temple in Kelanimulla, offering meals and refreshments to devotees performing religious observances and ablutions. Vesak, which marks the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Lord Buddha, is a time of reflection, compassion, and community service. Through this initiative, Empire Teas reaffirms its commitment to preserving cultural values and supporting spiritual traditions.
