A cup of tea may seem simple. But it brews an entire world waiting to be explored.

What makes Empire Teas different from other tea brands?
At Empire, tea isn’t a product. It’s a legacy. We source teas from Sri Lankan tea gardens rooted in centuries of tradition, cared for by hands that know the craft intimately. We never rush the process. What you taste is the result of patience, precision, and a deep respect for the leaf.
Are all your teas 100% pure Ceylon tea?
Yes. We don’t mix origins, and we don’t compromise. When we say “Ceylon,” we mean it.
What’s the best way to brew your teas to bring out their full flavor?
Brewing tea is both an art and a science. For black teas, use freshly boiled water (100°C) and steep for 3–5 minutes. For green teas, water just below boiling (80–85°C) works best. Always use fresh water, never reboil, and steep mindfully. The right temperature and time unlock the true character of the leaf.
Do you offer single estate or specialty teas?
Absolutely. Our specialty range includes single estate teas, rare harvests, and handcrafted selections for the true connoisseur. These are limited in quantity and reflect the mastery behind them.
How do you ensure the freshness of your teas during export?
Freshness is non-negotiable. We process and pack our teas using airtight, food-safe materials. Every step is temperature- and humidity-controlled.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We are actively committed to sustainability. Many of our teabags are biodegradable, and we are transitioning to recyclable and compostable materials across our product lines.
I’m new to tea. Where should I start?
Try a classic Ceylon black tea. It’s bold, brisk, and beautifully balanced. From there, explore our green teas, floral infusions, or single-origin picks.
Do your teas contain any additives or artificial flavors?
No. Empire Teas are all-natural. We never use artificial flavors or preservatives.
